The rooms have Queen or Super King beds, which can be converted two twin beds. Each room is comfortably furnished with private bathroom. Our famous breakfasts are taken upstairs in our dining room with fabulous views of Tairua Harbour and will certainly set you up for the day ahead.
Hosts Jane and Chris are always on hand to help you plan your Coromandel stay - with nearby 'must sees' like Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove.
Harbour View is a short stroll from the town centre with its restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The Harbour and Ocean Beaches are close by - and the summit of Mt Paku just a few minutes away.

Owners Jane and Chris moved into Harbourview in October 2016. After four seasons of running a B&B only, we will be expanding the offer from 2020 to include renting the whole house as a holiday home (on Bachcare – while we move out!). Jane is from Auckland, her family arrived on the first settlers’ boats from Scotland in 1842, and has mostly worked in Higher Education in NZ and the UK – and now also offers thesis proofreading and technical editing services to students, academics and businesses. Chris has been a hotelier, destination manager and tour operator, and also has a small tourism copywriting business. We have stayed and toured all over the Coromandel and look forward to sharing this beautiful part of the world with our guests. Between us we have travelled to every part of NZ, and can answer most questions on history, politics, geography, wildlife, sport and more...

Die Coromandel Halbinsel mit ihren unbeschreiblichen Naturschönheiten ist unsere Heimat geworden. Wir kennen uns hier sehr gut aus und können Ihnen deshalb viele Informationen über die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Landschaft geben, haben aber darüber hinaus auch Insider- und Geheimtipps von weniger bekannten Zielen, sowohl hier als auch Neuseelandweit.
Chris spricht Deutsch, und wir servieren ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit dunklem Brot, während Sie den Blick auf unseren Schutzengel, Mount Paku, geniessen. Wir freuen uns, abends in unserem Garten bei einem Glas Coromandel Portwein oder lokal gebrautem Bier von den Erlebnissen Ihres Tages zu hören.Wir sind stolz darauf, dass vieles, was Sie bei uns essen und trinken in der Gegend produziert wird. Sie können bei uns die lokalen Spezialitäten der Farmen, Gärten und Weingütern dieser Gegend geniessen.Sogar der Kaffee wird hier geröstet!
Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen, etwa fünf Minuten zu Fuß von der Ortsmitte, wo es Cafés und Restaurants gibt. Auch zum Strand und zur Fähre (zum Nachbarort Pauanui) ist es nicht weit. Sie sind bei uns richtig, wenn Sie ein Boutiquehotel suchen, wo man auf Ihre individuellen Wünsche eingeht, so dass Sie angenehme Erinnerungen an Ihren Urlaub in Tairua mit nach Hause nehmen.
