Tairua Harbour teems with birdlife at low tide – herons, godwits, stilts, oystercatchers and kingfishers in abundance, while, on the ocean beach, rare dotterels build their nests and gannets dive for fish. Enjoy too the unique bush mix of native ferns, palms and trees, local farms and beautiful gardens.

It was a wonderful 2 night stay. Great view, comfortable rooms and a fantastic breakfast. Chris and Jane are wonderful hosts. We would recommend this spot to anybody. It is a great gateway to the tourist spots in Coromandel. We visited great beaches, a little winery and much more.
